The Council works to protect, conserve and restore the Restigouche Atlantic salmon population and its habitat. It supports knowledge, collaboration among watershed interests and public awareness so that decisions can serve the river and its communities.
Le Conseil œuvre à la protection, à la conservation et à la restauration de la population de saumon Atlantique de la Restigouche et de son habitat. The Strategic Plan sets four directions for the Council: community outreach and education, representation of salmon interests, organizational health and efficiency, and projects that support protection, conservation, assessment, research and habitat restoration.
Le plan stratégique établit quatre orientations pour le Conseil : la mobilisation et l’éducation des communautés, la représentation des intérêts liés au saumon, la santé et l’efficacité organisationnelles, ainsi que des projets favorisant la protection, la conservation, le suivi, la recherche et la restauration de l’habitat.
